Very Thankful...

Wow...I'm so behind on posting! But I wanted to quickly say how very thankful and blessed we feel!

Stella had an echocardiogram last week and then an appointment with her cardiologist for a check-up. We are so happy to say that her heart looks completely and perfectly normal and healthy! Her VSD (ventricular septal defect) has closed on its own! No more visits to the cardiology department for us! She has been given a clean bill of health!

She was a perfect angel during her echo and didn't make a peep! Then at her check-up she was a little more nervous but daddy was there to hold her. Primary Children's is such an amazing facility and we feel blessed to have had their help! They have been so good to us! At her echocardiogram visit Stella chose a show to watch (Dora) and they gave her a little pink blanket to snuggle with to help her feel secure. Then at her cardiology appointment they let her choose the cutest Unicorn with a little star on its foot....she was over the moon!

Vaughn was a sweetie for both appointments and just played quietly with his toys.


We know that we are so blessed...and that there are so many others out there that are dealing with sick children and loved ones. Our hearts go out to you. This has given us a completely new understanding for those who deal with sick children. Please know that total strangers are thinking of and praying for you. We hope we can always be supportive to those who go through similar situations and give back whenever we have the opportunity.

We feel so blessed and fortunate and hope the same for any of those out there struggling...our love goes out to you especially this time of year!
