Neon Baby Shower

(photos by beckykimball.net)

In April,  Caroline and I were able to throw a baby shower for our sweet friend the fabulous Becky Kimball. We went with a neon theme and had a really fun time putting all the details together...

I first created the invitation (above)  to set the tone... we then got to getting all the details for the party

I had seen some similar jars on pinterest so I started collecting food jars and then created these animal lid toppers (I'll do a full tutorial later)...

For favors we painted these wooden berry baskets in neon colors...Caroline found these teeny-tiny succulents at her local Lowe's and also added Asian gummies in the tiny paper sacks and finished them off with neon stickers. Caroline had the stickers in every single shape...her studio is a crafter's delight! Seriously she is one crafty lady...if you don't follow her blog you should! Armelleblog.com.

Here are all the lovely ladies (+ Baby August) that attended...love them all so much...

Photos below are courtesy of my iPhone...yes I know they don't look as good...

I created the paper chandelier by using a tomato cage as the base...spray painted it...then cut out tons and tons and tons of triangle pieces of paper. Then I simply sewed them into long garlands on my machine...super easy but time consuming...but I'm very happy with how it turned out...

Below: Caroline, Becky and I after the party...can't wait to meet this sweet baby girl Becky!
